Carl Daniels was born and raised in the small rural town of Camp Verde, Arizona. He received his Associate's Degree in Applied Science at Yavapai Community College then moved to Flagstaff to pursue his degree in wildlife management. Carl began processing animals with his dad years before he was able to hunt. Over the years, his appreciation for wildlife management, and his love to hunt, fueled his passion as an avid sportsman. Recognizing the need for an expanded processing service in his hometown, he returned to Camp Verde and established Carl's Custom Meats in 2008.
Over the last 13 years, Carl's Custom Meats has grown into a year-round business offering processing of domestic animals and wild game, with now more than a thousand loyal customers. "Having the flexibility of a family-owned and operated business allows for time to pass on the tradition of hunting, define what it really means to spend quality time together and inspire my children to love hunting too—when we get a tag that is", laughs Carl.
Everyone that works at Carl's Custom Meats prides themselves in honest hard work to continually provide professional processing while producing the highest quality product at a valued price.
Carl's motto is, "we treat every animal as if it were our own and nothing leaves my shop that I wouldn't feed to my own children." We would like to extend our appreciation to our customers, whose ongoing loyalty has contributed to our continued growth.
